If you’re wondering about the title since it seems most of the posts are about gardening, one thing I like to do is paint things I’ve grown. The header image on the site is some tomatoes and peppers from my garden. I also like to paint my back yard. I have a great view of my wonderful backyard from my studio.
My wife and I dug up the lawn in our backyard two years ago and replaced it with native prairie plants. In the spring there’s is an ever changing palette of color right outside my studio window. It is an oasis in the middle of the city.
In addition to this site I also have a Neighborhood Photography site and a personal Photo Blog. Please stop by and take a look those too. I’d love to have some comments and feedback. I’m also looking for photographers who want to share photos of their neighborhoods.
Great painting from the garden!
Thanks!
What a great idea for the garden! Very original 🙂
Hi there. Thank you for visiting and following HoB. Much appreciated!
Karl thank you for offering such a thoughtful comment on my blog. Your work is lovely. Thank you for sharing the oasis you and your wife have created with us. Thank you for making the world that much more beautiful.
Nice illustration and very encouraging for city dwellers:) Keep going!
I would like to nominate you for the Liebster Award–up to you if you would like to put the badge up. Just wanted to thank you for your contributions to this community. Keep at it 🙂
Thank you. I sort of want to do it – so I guess that means that I want to do it. Suppose I just like having assignments.

You have some totally awesome pixs on your blog!. Loved the one of the “new creature”. It was amazing to see how that little (silk?) thread could hold that cocoon to the plant. Great blog! Congrats on being blog of the week!
Nice to meet you 😉 Looking forward to reading your posts and connecting!
Have a great day!
